Windows 10: I would like to be able to view what my webcam is recording on a second monitor.

Hello? I have an HP Envy x360 laptop with windows 11 home edition. and a Logitech HD Pro webcam C920. Is it possible to view what my webcam is recording on my TCL Roku smart TV? I am a DJ and I would like to record whatever event I am at and for everyone there to be able to see themselves dancing, ect on a large screen? Or should I add a second monitor and assign my camera to the second monitor? Please advise and your assistance with this matter is greatly appreciated. thanks

How do I record a video through a webcam with the monitor off or with the camera app minimized? Every time I turn the monitor off or minimize the camera app, the video stops recording. (This is for clinical use - the clients are aware they are being recorded
and have signed a consent).

What type of PC do you use? Is it a laptop or desktop computer?

Turning off the monitor on a desktop computer shouldn't affect the webcam recording. Are you using a USB or an in-built webcam?

You could see if resetting the Camera app helps:

- Click Start and type "apps & features".

- Select Apps & Features.

- Find the app in the list and select it.

- Click Advanced Options

- Click Reset.
