Windows 10: I would like to distribute a portable app but users get an error saying VCRUNTIME140.dll...

I would like to distribute a portable app. The idea is being able to just double click the executable and run it with no need to have to install anything else. The target platforms are Windows 10 and 11.We are using Visual Studio 2022 C++.Some users have reported getting an error saying VCRUNTIME140.dll and MSVCP140.dll are missing.

The vcruntime140.dll file is a part of the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015, 2017 and 2019. Download and install both the x86 and x64 versions of the Visual C++ redistributable package:

• x86: vc_redist.x86.exe
  
• x64: vc_redist.x64.exe
