I would like to know how to fix my copy clipboard that no longer pops up when I press windows + "v" key.

Does hibernate save windows clipboard copy file ?

The clipboard is NOT a file. It holds its data in memory.

The clipboard data does survive a hibernation.

You could easily answer the question yourself like so:

1. Press PrtSc
2. Hibernate
3. Return from hibernation
4. Open Word
5. Press Ctrl+V to paste the clipboard's contents.

This might be possible if there is an option from the app to copy the file path of each clipboards. As per our research, the clipboard manager lets you copy texts but not images. We suggest checking the functionalities of the clipboard manager and contacting
the app developer directly to have better assistance on how copy the clipboards.

Why can't I use my copy function without Family and Friends reminders popping up?

I'm Amr, an independent advisor, and will try to help you with this.

To disable the Family and Friends feature, follow these steps:

. Open the Settings app.

. Click on "Accounts".

. Click on "Family & other people".

. Click on "Manage family and other people".

. Under "Your family", click on the name of the person you want to remove.

. Click on "Remove from this PC".

. Click on "Remove" to confirm.

. Once you have removed the person from your family, the Family and Friends feature will be disabled.

> To disable the clipboard, follow these steps:

. Open the Settings app.

. Click on "System".

. Click on "Clipboard".

. Under "Clipboard history", turn off the "Show clipboard history when you press the "Win+V" switch.

. Once you have disabled the clipboard, it will no longer pop up when you copy something.
