Windows 10: I would like to prefer the Metro Tile screen and not the desktop but searching has failed me.

I have a desktop, but it's called a laptop. It's that HP offering from some years back that is big screen and sit's upright on your desktop, not carry-able. So while I refer to it as desktop it is technically a laptop.

I, after years and as odd person out, want my tile start screen to show in preference. I have searched and searched. The most counted suggestion is right click on taskbar and click on properties. My taskbar does not have a properties offering on right click.

I understand there is a way to have the Start Menu and Tiles. That would be nice.

History:
Purchased as a Windows 8 HP and has taken the transform up to 10 very well and all updates seem to matter little to the pc, no harm, I mean on this strange HP laptop that sits upright and can't be used in your lap.

Does anyone have knowledge here how I can prefer and startup and all that on the Metro design? And again, that start menu thing with tiles sounds good.
