Windows 10: I would like to Re-Use my old password which I have for years.

I would like to Re-Use my old password which I have for years. My password is strong and I do not want to NOT use it. Regardless of how you say that the system is designed to protect etc etc, I am ok, so if you would like to help, kindly, make it happen so I can just use my password which I am comfortable with for so many years! There must be some techincal mechanic to allow me to use my old password. Or just tell me how many times do I need to enter a Mock password before i am able to use the one i want. Thanks.

Thanks for your quick response. But my problem is that M.S. says old password con not be used. I want to switch back to my old password. I think I need to contact M.S. to clear the registry for my passwords. Then, I will be able to switch back.

To understand the issue better, I would like to know how are you trying to change the Password? Using web base browser or mail client?

For now let’s try simple steps and check if it helps. I suggest you to open the outlook.com web page on the browser and log-in using the working password. Now try changing the password from the change password option and check if it helps.

• Click on the Gear and click Option.
• Click on Account details (Password, addresses, time zone) and click on
  Security & Privacy.
• Click on Change password and provide the credential and change the password.

Web Blocking for an 8 Year Old

Your suggestions have not solved my problem yet. But, I first have a more basic problem.

I went to the suggested site and then set up an account for my 8 year old son and signed him up for an email account as a family member. I received an email welcoming him to the family and he shows up in my family list. I turned on the age appropriate
restrictions and listed cnn.com to block. when I go to his account, there are no restrictions at all. I can get to cnn.com and I can go to sites about **** for teens. What am I doing wrong? Is thee a setting I am missing?
