Windows 10: I would not like Cortana screen to pop up after asking her something

The screen that pops up after asking her something is blocking the screen. Is there any way to ask her something without this screen popping up every time?! Wouldn't people like an option for this, or am I missing something?

One of the possible reasons why your laptop is not asking if you like the spotlight choice might be because the Windows spotlight is not set as your lock screen background. To address this concern, we suggest enabling Windows spotlight as your lock screen
background. To do so, follow these steps:

• Go to Settings.
• Click on Personalization and then select Lock screen.
• Under Background, click on the drop down menu and make sure to click on Windows spotlight.

Cortana pop on the hole screen

Appreciate the response. For the meantime, if Cortana is causing any inconvenience with you or your system, we suggest reverting back to the old 1607 update. Just follow the steps below:

• Open Settings window.
• Click Update and Security, Recovery.
• Select Get Started, under Go back.
  

This will put your system back to the old Windows build. Let us know if you need further assistance.

 

cortana keeps popping up and i can't play my game

• What does Cortana show when it's popping up? Can you show us a sample screenshot.
• When did the issue occur?
• When you say "I can't see the bottom of the screen", are you unable to see your taskbar?

Meanwhile, let's try to turn off Cortana to avoid interruption. Open Settings> Type Privacy setting> Speech, inking, & typing> Turn off speech services and typing suggestions. If you would like to turn off Hey Cortana, go to Settings of Cortana and then
toggle to Off. You can also Toggle to Off the Lock Screen.
