Windows 10: I2C HID Device cannot installed Code 10

I have a Dell G15 5515 Ryzen Edition. I am facing some touchpad related issues in Windows 10 and 11. The cursor gets slow after I reintsall the window until the next knstallation. Also the touchpad can't access the features it has. When I checked the system it is because of I2C HID device driver issue that disable the functionalities of touchpad. Also the touchpad driver gets disappeared and is not showing.When I try to reinstall the I2C HID device driver, it says it can not start with a code Code 10. And the issue persists. Also the screenshots are attached.

Touchscreen not working - I2C HID Device Code 10

Please help,

My notebook touchscreen was playing up before (tapping a few times before it responded). I decided to restart and now it doesn't work at all. Device Manager says I2C HID Device (which the HID Touchscreen and Pen are 'on') is on code 10 - Device cannot start. Tried:

• Restart - no luck
  
• SFC - no luck
  
• Remove device - no luck
  
• Update device driver (Error codes in Device Manager in Windows (microsoft.com)) - No luck - can't even update because I get the same CODE 10!!!
  
• Restarting even MORE - no luck
  
• Checking web - Other people had same problem but was not resolved.
  
• Installing I/O driver - it's 'on' Intel(R) Serial IO I2C Host Controller - 9D61 (you can look at the website here: Product Support for Acer Switch 5| Acer Australia)

Duplicate I2C HID device (touchpad) in Device Manager

Hi,

I'm using Dell Inspiron 13 7370 with Windows 11. I work well in 6 months, but now I cannot using multi-finger 's function of the touchpad. After checking for a while, I found something:

- I2C HID Device is duplicated with error code 10

- The working I2C HID device has the same registry key value (the same Class Guid) with the other I2C HID Device

- No HID-compliant touchpad in device list

- Now the mousepad works as left-mouse click only

What I've already tried:

- Update latest Window update

- Update all Dell driver

- Installed Touchpad driver software from Dell (after running the exe file, it said my laptop doen't need this installation)

- Restore backup

- Search UpperFilters, LowerFilters of I2C HID in registry for deletion but not found any upperfilters, lowerfilters key

Please help to fix it.

I2C HID Device not working properly. Showing code 10 error.

I've already tried these below solutions but couldn't resolve:

1. Updated BIOS.

2. Disabled and again enabled the concerned driver.

3. Driver updates (Windows not showing any updates for I2C HID device).

4. Switched to Windows 11.

Could anyone please help in this regard.

Note: Windows version is 21H2.
