Windows 10: i7-7820HQ is supported for Win 11 - but PC integritiy check says not

Hi everyone,I do have a problem with the Windows 10 to 11 upgrade. As I withdraw from the MS website - my processor a i7-7820HQ - Lenovo Thinkpad P51 is supported by Windows 11, but my PC integrity program on PC says that the only thing that is not supported by Win 11 is the processor. An I also did not get Windows 11 as update option under WIndows Update. Can anyone help?Would really appreciate your help!Thanks Matthias

B3 Phenom support

I checked gigabyte's site on my GA-M57 and it didn't say anything about b3 stepping update, but all of the x3 chips are b3 steppings, so just use the x3 support bios if available.

Hi, in the following you will see a second tool which you can try- 3rd party. Note these do not give a comprehensive account. In the rest of the the data I have collated, as the site ie getting many of these queries, you will find other aspects to check.

This suggests you or a 3rd party tool has set a registry value equivalent to a group policy. Organisations use group policy, that's where that comes. (Individual users with Pro up can use that too). You don't say if you have Home or Pro.

Have you perhaps disabled or configured Windows Update by some means?

Graphics:
Only machines after about 2015 can support Direct X 12 graphics.
Try dxdiag.exe on yours e.g. from a Run box

CPU:
You can check to see if your CPU is in this list:

TPM
Check whether you have TPM 2 and if it’s enabled: run
tpm.msc
from e.g. a run command.

 

PC Health Check app buggy?

I already have both the secure boot and the TPM.



I now went through the list of supported processors and my i7-6650U is not on the list. The computer is 5 years old Microsoft Surface Pro. Bummer!
