    i9-10900 showing only half the logical processors cores are fine


    Hello, so I just decided to check how my cpu was doing in task manager and have only noticed that the my i9-10900 10 cores 20 thread cpuis only showing 10 cores and 10 logical processors, not 20 like it's supposed to be. I've tried the msconfig boot thing, but that is for people who is experiencing both cores and threads cut in half, but in my case it's only the threads? can anybody help me please.

    Why does Task Manger shows half of the cores?

    Device Manager shows logical processors (which is 8), while Task Manger reports on both aspects (4 cores and 8 logical processors).

    will Windows 10 ever support 4 cores, 8 logical processors?

    I am running Windows 7 on a 64 bit 4 core, 8 logical processor computer. I would like to go to Windows 10, but it is limited to 2 cores, 4 logicals. Does microsoft have any intention of advancing Windows 10 to 64 bit 4 cores 8 logical processors?

    Why does Task Manger shows half of the cores?

    Windows 10 Pro 64-bit

    AMD FX 8320 E processor with 16 GB RAM

    In Task Manager performance tab, it shows

    CPU AMD FX-8320E Eight-Core Processor

    Cores: 4

    Logical processors: 8

    In Device Manager, it shows 8 under Processor

    What is going on?
