Windows 10: Ia there a way i can downgrade to 8.1 if i don't have a disk or a USB drive?

I'm stuck on update 2004 of w10 My win.old files are gone When i look at uninstall updates it shows only a security update And the performance is at its absolute worst

So maybe i can get to w8.1 or w8?

-I'd rather go baxk to an earlier update for w10 but that doesn't seem possible since I've ran out of time and my uninstall updates logs abd system recovery are empty and it doesn't help when every website and YouTube video copy pastes the same stuff -is it even possible when my laptop is originally w10? -if so how?

Installing windows off of a USB stick

Step By Step from vista:
From admin cmd prompt

1. diskpart
1a. list disk
2. select disk 1 (replace 1 with your usb drive)
3. clean
4. create partition primary
5. select partition 1 (replace 1 with your usb drive)
6. active
7. format fs=fat32
8. assign
9. exit

Copy Windows Vista's DVD ROM content to the Flash Drive

xcopy d:\*.* /s/e/f e:\ (d being your vista cd and e being your usb stick)

And that's it, boot off your usb disk

 

Downgrade to win 8

Hey !

I want to downgrade my win from 10 to 8, but I don´t have this option in settings(recovery). Which other way can I downgrade my windows? Thanku for answers.

Run CMD


1. diskpart
2. list disk

Then in the 3º step, put the correct number of disk in the list for the usb flash (if it's listed in disk 3, then you'll have to write select disk 3).

2. select disk #
3. clean
4. create partition primary
5. select partition 1
6. active
7. format fs=fat32
8. assign
9. exit

with that commands you will format the flash drive in fat32, if you have a large drive you can select also "format fs=ntfs" in step 7.
