Windows 10: IBM ideapad Lenovo Vantage service automating booting what other WIN services?

This is a serious annoyance, so I uninstalled the junk service. has anyone else run into this? it's just an attempt by the corporate world to automate everyone's life and take their brains away. = will uninstalling this cause me harm? I already did it, but all of the files in the dir were nothing more than sql lite files and icons. so I'm doubtful I'll damage anything. anyone else think differently?

Since there is a lot of disk I/O, I suspect that the Prefetcher is not working properly.





Superfetch is a mechanism used by Windows 10 to prefetch data from HDD and store them in a memory cache to speed data access on mechanical disks.
But if this service is broken he can make things worse.

I suggest the following:

• Open services console;
• disable Sysmain service;
• delete "C:\Windows\Prefetch\Readyboot" folder content;
• reboot your PC 3 or 4 times and see if this make any difference;

you can next re-enadable the SysMain service, and restart your PC 6 times minimum to allow the Prefetecher to rebuild its database;

Let's Uninstall Intel RST Driver from the Device manager;

First make a restore point in case something goes wrong.

In the device manager follow those steps to replace the Intel RST driver with the standard Windows SATA AHCI driver:
