Windows 10: IBM Trusteer - Rapport (not supported in Edge)

If you use Rapport, which usually is a suggestion by some banks for online banking including HSBC, please note that Microsoft Edge is not supported. Comment from IBM Trusteer support below:

Rapport cannot protect web sessions performed in unsupported browsers and its icon will not appear in these browsers.

Support for additional browsers may be incorporated in future releases of Rapport, but unfortunately there are no immediate plans of this kind.

IE11 now appears to be 'persona' non grata in Win 10 since EDGE dominates (edges out) IE.

The Trusteer Rapport guys never answered my questions, it is not clear which level of Rapport supports Microsoft Edge. If it is the one that breaks IE11 that is not acceptable.

Anyway I went back to 3.5.1804.161 which works with IE11.

There is no explanation in the Trusteer Rapport support site about the differences of the different levels and that is quite unprofessional considering that it is own by IBM. I'll probably get rid of it if they don't give a better support. Something on
the latest IE11 updates is incompatible with Trusteer Rapport 3.5.1908.118.

Latest Trusteer Rapport available from IBM is 3.5.1908.131. It fixes the problem with IE 11, but still does not support Microsoft Edge with HTML 16.16299 which is the current level of MS Edge.
