Windows 10: Ibuypower reboot

My sons iBuypower gaming PC will not fully boot up. He keeps getting an error saying "Reboot and Select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key". He assures me his PC came with Windows. I followed a suggestion to check all connections and no change. He also assures me that he never had a Windows download of any kind.Please help us gain access to his PC. The closest to layman's terms the better because I am a novice at best. Thank you

• Which version of Windows is installed on the computer?
