Windows 10: iCloud for Windows app iCloud Passwords for Edge extension not working

This issue is perplexing to me. I have iCloud for Windows 14.2 installed via Microsoft Store on Win11 Pro 22H2 OS Build 22621.1848. I am able to use the app just fine except for the iCloud Passwords for Edge 1.3.93 extension. Whenever I click on the extension in Edge I am presented with the following message:This has worked in the past. A few weeks ago, the iCloud for Windows app started giving me an error something along the lines of "Request could not be completed", or something to that effect. I had uninstalled and reinstalled the app at this point, and that's when the Edge extensi

iCloud for Windows problem

In the settings panel for iCloud for Windows there is a section called Bookmarks.
It defaults to Internet Explorer (which is so old that it only appears in history books).
There is an option to select Firefox instead but when I do (& click 'Apply') it tells me that the
iCloud Bookmarks extension for Firefox is required.
I am already aware of this & have installed this Firefox iCloud Bookmarks extension previously.
Unfortunately, iCloud for Windows fails to recognise this & therefor It's not possible to set it up.
Any suggestions?

 

iPad iTunes + iCloud

A friend of mine has an iPad that has been locked by ZVRS. ZVRS is a company that gives away free devices to deaf people. When she received the iPad, it was locked with an iCloud account. She has called customer services numerous times and they still refuse to remove the iCloud account. It's impossible to install anything on the iPad. She wants me to bypass/remove the iCloud account.


I told her I'd remove the account for a fee, but she won't be able to pay me in a couple of weeks. I was wondering is it possible to use two separate accounts? One for iTunes (download apps and stuff) and one for iCloud (lock the device until payment has been received). I know it sounds unethical, but I'm tired of people taking advantage of me.
