Windows 10: iCloud update error

my laptop will not allow iCloud 7.3 update. does not allow manual download either

Outlook 2010, Windows 10 Update and iCloud Incompatability

just did the Windows 10 Update - July 2016 - and now my iCloud Calendar, Tasks, and Contacts - will not open. Error Message - "The set of folders cannot be opened. The information store cannot be opened." I tried repairing iCloud, unlinking and relinking
'Mail, Contacts, etc." in iCloud Control Panel. I've rebooted; I remove iCloud email from data files in Outlook. Done it all, but none of the previous fixes work. Someone have an answer?

Here's a set of suggestions for dealing with this kind of problem that may be of help: How to Fix iCloud for Windows installation Problems. In general, looks like you're dealing with some kind of "Apple environment on Windows" issue. If all else fails (and none of the afore-linked tips works for you), you might think about -- or perhaps, decide to try -- uninstalling iTunes altogether (use a tool like the free version of Revo Uninstaller set to "moderate" clean-up after the built-in installer does its thing). Then you can reinstall everything and see if the final results turn out better.
