Windows 10: icloud Windows 11 - Cannot delete photos?

Hello All,What's up with Windows 11? I just recently did a clean install of Windows 11 from Windows 10-Home. No error at installation process.I have used the iCloud app for Windows for several years previous versions of Windows and have never had a problem in deleting photos from my iCloud Photos folder located under Pictures.Thanks, K

Steps:

1. Open regedit (Win+R, "regedit")
2. Enter key in address bar
3. Deprecate key
   • Opt A. - delete
   • Opt B. - rename something different (e.g. prefix with "_")
4. Close and re-open to observe result

Key:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\MyComputer\NameSpace\{F0D63F85-37EC-4097-B30D-61B4A8917118}

Unable to delete or favourite photos in Photos app?

1. Check for updates: Make sure that both the Photos app and Windows 11 are up to date. Sometimes, software updates can fix issues with apps.
   
2. Sign out and sign back into iCloud: Try signing out of iCloud in the Photos app and then signing back in to see if that resolves the issue with deleting or favoriting photos.
   
3. Clear cache and reset the app: You can try clearing the cache for the Photos app and resetting the app to its default settings. To do this, go to Settings > Apps > Apps & features, find the Photos app, click on it, and then select Advanced options. From there, you can reset the app and clear its cache.
