Windows 10: Icon glitch on Windows 11

Discus and support Icon glitch on Windows 11 in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; My device is always removing icons on the taskbar and replacing the usual icons on Windows Explorer files with this low quality document outline image....     Icon glitch on Windows 11


    My device is always removing icons on the taskbar and replacing the usual icons on Windows Explorer files with this low quality document outline image. And when I restarted Windows Explorer, the icons I keep on it go away too! The only way I can fix this is by restarting the PC. Does anyone know how to fix this without restarting and get rid of this glitch forever? Thanks-Newcomer, Spencer Lent

    what icons are you referring to?
    In the Windows Explorer list or desktop?

    Suggestion to have an option to change Notification Area icon this way too.
    Suggestion to finally have proper separate Options window like most (all?) Windows programs do.

    Icon glitch on Windows 11

    Remove Linux Desktop Icons

    I am not sure whether this will work (Ubuntu does not have icons like that on the desktop by default), but I suggest opening the trash bin and sweeping the icons into the window showing the trash bin.
