Windows 10: Icon showing no internet yet there is internet access windows 10

Hi, I'm running windows 10 and recently downloaded radmin vpn and connected to a server. Now my windows icon is showing that I have no internet access when in fact, I do. I have not noticed significant decrease in internet speed but I find the icon to be quite perplexing given my OCD. I have tried to disconnect from the server and even uninstalling and reinstalling radmin vpn multiple times. Is there any way to resolve this issue? Thank you very much.

Microsoft Internet Explorer renamed to Windows Internet Explorer ?




Since version 7 of the world`s most popular web browser - Microsoft Internet Explorer was silently renamed to Windows Internet Explorer.Such a step from Microsoft is not a surprise since Internet Explorer is part of the Windows operation system for a long time.Obviously Microsoft corp. wants to state that Internet Explorer is already considered as a part of Windows and not as an external browser (remember the IE and WMP law issues last year!?).

 

Upgrading to Windows 10 from windows 7 and losing internet connection

A couple of days ago I upgraded my desktop to windows 10 after getting one of those MS prompts. However now I cannot access the internet and suspect the drivers from the Gigabyte GA-MA790X-ud4 motherboard does not support the internet drivers required. Searching the manufacturers website has not given me any joy either. Can anyone offer any suggestions?

Please confirm you have no so-called privacy tools or firewall rules in use that could be responsible.

The first suggests it's not related to your router..

What report do you receive when you rt click the Wifi icon, click Troubleshooter - including any detailed results?
