Windows 10: Icons for open programs disappearing in taksbar

I am noticing weird behaviour with the icons of open programmes. Sometimes icons disappear. In some cases, it will come back, but in most cases it will stay hidden untill i start the programm again or untill i reboot. You can still see that the programm is open, by the bar on the bottom.Also, if the program has a batch like the unread messages batch, or the online batch from teams, that wont dissapear. Anyone ever come across this issue?I have already tried rebooting, restarting explorer process, removed icon cache. None of this helps in the long run.I am using Windows 11 Pro.

To clarify, are you referring to the Taskbar? If so, it seems like the taksbar has been set to automatically hide. Follow the steps below to manage the settings of for the taskbar.

• Press the Windows icon on your keyboard.
• You will be able to see all your programs again. Click on Settings. It is the gear icon on the left side.
• Click on Personalization and choose Taskbar on the options at the left bottom panel.
• You can turn on the Lock the taskbar option to keep your taskbar on your home screen. Turn off the
  Automatically hide the taksbar in desktop mode option. You can also choose the location of the taskbar on your screen.

Tray icon disappears

I've been experiencing since the installation of Windows XP SP2 on multiple machines with the ATITool Tray Icon disappearing upon load at system startup. Sometimes it's there, sometimes it's not. Enabling or Disabling the "Hide Inactive (tray) Icons" WinXP menu option doesn't have any effect. The only way to open ATITool after it has loaded is to go through the start menu to open it again. I have "minimize on close" selected in ATITool. When closing ATITool, you see it make the motions of minimizing to the tray area but no icon is displayed. Any ideas?
