Windows 10: Icons problem

Hello, I purchased a laptop and immediately downloaded apps from the store, but the apps are showing up with a blue square background on my desktop. The support team says it's an issue with the individual app developers, but the problem also occurs with Microsoft Teams, as well as the built-in Calculator and Paint apps on my laptop. Is there really no solution to this? It's quite frustrating.

• Are you trying to hide icon in the task bar.

If yes I suggest you to follow the below steps.

• Type in search bar “Turn system icons On or Off”.
• Select the option “Turn system icons On or Off”.
• Turn off the icons which you want to hide.

System Icons on taskbar

Hi,

Thank you for posting on Microsoft Communities.

Are you referring to the clock system icon on the taskbar?

If so, I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below:

• 
  Click on the search bar on the taskbar.
  
• 
  Type system icons.
  
• 
  Under Turn System Icons ON or OFF, turn On the Clock and check with the issue.
