Windows 10: Icons stacked and can't run regedit

Discus and support Icons stacked and can't run regedit in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; I'm running windows 11 s mode and the icons on my desktop are stacked.     Icons stacked and can't run regedit


    I'm running windows 11 s mode and the icons on my desktop are stacked. I tried to follow the suggested solution on another thread but I can't run regedit. When I try, I get a big blue dialog box that says "For security and performance this mode of windows only runs microsoft verified apps" screenshot below. Thanks for any help.

    Hi,

    Thank you for posting your query at Microsoft community.

    Do the apps work fine apart form the icons not displaying correctly? If so I would suggest you to run an SFC scan and check if it helps. If the issue persists you may run DISM command and check.

    Follow this steps:


      • Press Windows+X.

      • Click on Command Prompt (Admin).

      • Type the command SFC /SCANNOW and
        DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth and hit
        Enter.

    Icons stacked and can't run regedit

    Insurgency wont install and run for me....

    I have played and have fully updated CS and Half life 2....
    I am using the newest client and installed the SDK.

    I am completely blown away, if i click the desktop icon it starts the sdk and then closes, and it doesn't show up in my game list...

    First mod attempt install here, followed the directions step by step on the mods website...

    Any ideas?
