Windows 10: Icons vs. photos, documents?

Everytime I go to any folder, I get icons instead of photos or documents. I have tried the view button but it doesn't work. When I double click on the item, the photo or documents come as a preview, then will show as a picture/document not an icon on my screen. I would like to be able to see and decide what I am seeing instead of icons. Any help?

I suggest you to follow the below steps to give permission for entire system, so that you can save the files in photos and documents.

• Right click on the folder and click on properties.
• Click on security tab and select the group\user name.
• Click on edit option and check the option full control.
• Click on apply and then on ok button.

Now you can try saving the file in photos and documents and check if the issue persists.

Multiple Photos

We suggest that you follow the steps below to delete the photo through Photos app:

• If you’re looking at your list of photos in Photos app, select the photos by clicking on checkbox on the photos you want to delete. Click
  Delete icon at the bottom right corner to delete.
• If you open a photo, Tap or press Delete
  key from keyboard.
