Windows 10: ICY BOX IB-111 USB 3.0 not recognized by windows 10

I just upgraded to windows, 10, not of my own free will, but because windows 7 is no longer supported and it's no longer useable. I bought the above hard drive reader. Thought the last supported OS was windows 7, almost everything is backwards compatible...especially USB. My plan was to use the device and swap out hard drivers to back up my windows 10 boot and my Linux mint boot. I my Linux mint had no problem using the device even though it's not supported. Windows 7 worked, before I upgraded. Now that I've upgraded to windows 10, this device is now a paperweight. Please tell me, that you d

Limited Function Surface Laptop 3and Thunderboldt 3 Dockingstation IB-DK2801-TB3

Hi,

I connect the ICY Bos IB-TK2801-TB3 to my new Surface Laptop3 15" and get immediately the message that the device may have functional limitations. It do not recognize a Thunderbold drive and the 2nd Screen. For this the bosx is totaly useless on the Surface
laptop 3. I do use the box for a Apple Macbook Pro and it works with all connected devices on the box without any problems.

Do I need to install a new driver to solve the problem?

Some USB Devices not recognized in Windows 10

Hi have Windows 10 Pro insider preview 10532 64bit Pro Intel i7 desktop PC.

I have multiple USB devices connected, USB 3 & 2. The USB HDD is working however my Samsung phone and kindle are no longer being recognized. The steps followed so far:

• Uninstalled all USB devices in device manager including controllers
• Flashed BIOS to latest version
• Updated USB drivers for the devices from manufacturers sites
• Tried new USB cables

Please note: both devices are recognized by my Windows 10 Lenovo laptop.

I really don't want to fresh install, please suggest any diagnostics I can try.

USB device not recognized spam

You may receive this error if one of your USB connected devices is not properly recognized by the system. Let's try the troubleshooting steps provided by

thread.

In addition, we suggest that you turn off the notifications from the USB by following these steps:

• Open Settings by typing "settings" in Cortana's search box.
• Click on Devices.
• Locate USB and toggle the switch to Off.
