Windows 10: I'd like for file explorer's Preview pane improved

It's neat but takes up lots of space. this can be helped byutting the preview pane in an appropiately sized box/rectangle oriented at the top/bottom right of file explorer, so that less space is needlessly taken up from it.-If on a 16:9 monitor the preview pane takes up 1/3rd of space, on a 5:4 monitor it should take up a 1/3rd of space also, rather than taking up about 1/2 spaceA radical improvement might be if you hover on a files icon, a preview of the folder or files contents is enlarged via animation so the user can easily and quickly know what the content of their file/folders are wit

Setting the Preview pane to show or hide in File Explorer will apply to all folders. If you wish to hide the Preview pane in File Explorer, we suggest that you follow the steps below:

• Open File Explorer.
• Tap on View tab.
• Click Preview Pane to view/hide it.

Thank you so much for your reply.

What I really need to know is how get the video to play in the preview pane. Prior to Windows 10, this worked wonderfully and was an asset. Now, it requires making changes to the Windows registry - not recommended due to the enormous amount of issues with
Windows 10.

Any other suggestions?
