Discus and support Identical PCs but one is slower intermittently disconnects than the other. Wi-Fi in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; My partner and I both have MSI GL65 Leopard laptops.     Identical PCs but one is slower intermittently disconnects than the other. Wi-Fi


    My partner and I both have MSI GL65 Leopard laptops. My computer intermittently disconnects from wi-fi and runs much slower intermittently than theirs. They are within 6ft of each other. My PC is actually closer to the router. So far I have done the following/observed: Not in this particular orderA network reset. Updated the wifi adapter's drivers via windows and Intel's website. A system restore to a point when it was working similarly well as the other PC.Device manager says the wifi adapter is working properly. Transmit power is highest, throughput booster is on. And I have tried 2.4ghz

    Wi-Fi disconnect

    Windows doesn't disconnect a properly working WiFi. Mine NEVER disconnects since the last time I restarted my computer. I suggest to check for near-by WiFi radios to see if your channel is too crowded or if all the channels are crowded, just switch to 5 GHz band like mine

    Printer disconnects from Wi-Fi

    Part of an older post 10 Sep 2018 , at the time we were happy that the PC issue was fixed.
    The printer was not the main issue.

    The wi-fi connected printer get disconnected from Wi-Fi for no apparent reason.
    Both of our pc's still have the wi-fi connection.
    The only way to re-establish the wi-fi connection to the printer is to disconnect and reconnect the power line.
    Once the connection with printer is re-established, we can repeatedly print again until we stop and the printer sits idle for a night, then the process starts over again.
    I did reinstall the software, but to no avail.
    In the event viewer it states to see trace logging, but I don't know how to find it.

    Wi-Fi Intermittent after updating Windows 10 to Version 1703

    Wi-Fi Intermittent after updating Windows 10 to Version 1703 - Trouble shooter found no issues with Internet Connections nor the Net Work Adaptor. Other PC s that share the same Wi-Fi net work, that do not yet have Version 1703, are operating fine.
    Any suggestions on how to fix in order to keep Wi-Fi connected?
