Windows 10: identifier value for BitLocker Drive Encryption recovery key

Ok, so I'm an everyday user of my laptop who has a low to moderate understanding of some of the back end processes.I have a piece of software that is not responding and the developer has told me "You likely have some software on your computer intefering with xxx. Try rebooting in safe mode and see if it works to confirm."I have no idea what that means so I googled and got to the "Start your PC in safe mode in Windows" page here and followed the instructions. When I got to the startup selections page and clicked restart it took me to a page asking for the BitLocker Drive Encryption recovery key

Wrong PC Identifier for Bitlocker Drive Encryption

When setting up the Bitlocker Drive Encryption BitLocker Drive Encryption recovery key information shows the PC identifier which is different from my PC - how can I correct this. I want to set up the Bitlocker but am concerned that it has this weird identifier
for my pc and I may have issues if I need to use the recovery key. I really need help as I need to encrypt the drive but am concerned about this.
