Hi teamTaking the example of the following vuln:Microsoft CVE-2023-29324: Windows MSHTML Platform Security Feature Bypass Vulnerability Solution: 2023-05 Cumulative Update for Windows Server 2019 for x64-based Systems KB5026362 The KB is installed on the server via SCCM, but the server is not rebootedIs the server still susceptible to the given vulnerability?Thank you.

Windows reboots my machine without warning (for cumulative updates)

Every few weeks, Windows reboots my machine not only without asking my permission but without any warning. Latest was a cumulative update for Windows 10.

As a result, I wake up and find all my Excel documents in Document Recovery mode, which is a pain in the ass.

I'm sick of Microsoft rebooting my machine without a warning. How do I prevent this?

My settings for "We'll show a reminder when we're going to restart" is set to On, but I don't get a warning.

 

Updating machines through one machine

Is there a way to update a set of machines through one machine instead of each machine downloading windows updates?

 

Cumulative updates failing to install

For more than three weeks now, TWO cumulative updates have been continually trying and failing to install on my machine - cumulative updates KB3197954 and KB3200970. I've tried manually downloading the fixes that have been recommended elsewhere and this
hasn't solved the problem - the fixes also failed to install, and my machine is still attempting and failing the cumulative updates. What's my next step?
