If anyone has a Hauppauge WinTV 8 Win TV HVR HD-1265 PCIe card Video Audio Sync problem a possible soltionI was just now tinkering around with my Hauppauge WinTV 8 Video Capture software using WinTV-HVR-1265 PCIe TV capture card connected to cable TV through my Verizon cablebox. I may have found a possible solution to all of the video/Audio sync problems.It's not just the random frame-drop problems win using any frame rate above the old standard 25 fps but in how AC3 audio fails to filter sync with video.In WinTV V8 click the sprocket in the lower left corner of the application which is settin

Hauppauge's WinTV 8.5 software (and associated hardware) is no substitute for Windows Media Center (WMC). I recently purchased & installed Hauppauge's newest updated WinTV-HVR-1265 internal HDTV card with drivers and WinTV 8.5 software. The WinTV-HVR-1265
hardware is medium grade and exhibits some pixelation for fast moving sports video. The reason I purchased the newest updated WinTV-HVR-1265 was because I thought it might eliminate the pixelation rendered by my previously purchased and installed Hauppauge
WinTV-HVR-2255 internal HDTV card. Both the new updated 1265 and now obsolete 2255 Hauppauge cards produce some pixelation, so I no longer have them installed. I am presently using an Advanced Micro Devices Model B041 [ATI-102-B041(B)] internal HDTV card.
Windows Update easily and automatically found the correct Windows 7 driver for the Model B041 card. The Model B041 card renders beautiful video with no pixelation whatsoever, and was immediately recognized by Windows Media Center (WMC). The motion adaptive
3D Comb Filter, Edge Enhancement and Noise Reduction work together to produce an ultra sharp and pure image by the B041 card. Even analog TV is made brilliant on the B041 card by the advanced 3D Comb Filter that produces a high-end television and video content
experience with true-to-life images. By the way, the pixelation was not caused by my computer [a high-end HP 850-065se desktop PC with 8 physical cores (Intel Core i7 CPU), 32 GB DDR4 RAM, a NVIDIA Quadro P2000 graphics card, 2 TB hard drive, and a 64 bit
Windows 7 Professional Operating System]. Replacement with Advanced Micro Devices' Model B041 [ATI-102-B041(B)] internal HDTV card eliminated the pixelation produced by the Hauppauge cards.

In answer to your question: Unfortunately, Hauppauge's WinTV 8.5 is no substitute for Windows Media Center (WMC).

When WinTV 8.5 is installed a TitanTV shortcut icon is placed on the desktop.

You double click the TitanTV shortcut icon to go to the TitanTV website or manually type on your browser

WinTV 8.5 is not a solution for Microsoft's current removal of Windows Media Center (WMC) from Windows 10.

Other Microsoft Customers and I would gladly pay Microsoft $100.00 for a single user license (not a subscription) for a downloadable Windows Media Center (WMC) application (APP) for Windows 10 - Could you please do this Microsoft? PLEASE!!!

Hauppauge WinTV 7.2 Software DVD - Can I share this or not ?

It does work on Windows 10. I got it on right now.
