    If files are synced to Windows11 Onecloud do they also stay physically on my PC?


    I have a standalone brand new PC that accesses internet. It is not on a computer network. When I started it up and did setup I noticed the Onecloud was running with no request from me. If files are synced to WINDOWS11 Onecloud do they also stay physically on my PC? I want to disable the OneClusterf* but still access the files in my PC folders. I assume that the folders that have been synced are showing grey thumbtacks in winows explorer. I WANT TO TURN OFF ONE CLOUD a data hog with all the files that i have BUT NOT LOSE ACCESS ON MY PC TO REAL FILES. I DON'T SEE ANY GOOD EXPLANATIONS O

    Using OneCloud to synchronize files between desktop and laptop

    Like many, I have a desktop and laptop. I use the desktop at work and the laptop when I travel. I want to keep files in Documents and Pictures in sync. The implication is that onecloud someone makes it easy.

    Ok, moving .pst to a differnet direction and other messy things done.

    Backup to Onedirve with the Documents and Pictures folder is done.

    Now, I want to synchonize these files on my laptop. Yes, I see how to back what about the other way?

    They do not need continuous sync because I normally do not use both systems at the same time. When I setup a new laptop, and return from a trip I want to synchronize the changed files. What is the last step now that files are in the cloud (and can see them from both machines)...

    Same user account, both run Windows 11 home.

    What is the last step to synchronize?????

    syncing images to pc & back to iphone

    Hey there I have a bit of a dilemma. I want to do this:


    1. sync images from my iphone to my pc
    2. run jpegmini on the images that are now on my pc from my phone
    3. replace the existing images on the iphone and icloud with the new smaller compressed images to save space and avoid cloud conflicts with the same files with different file sizes

    Surely this probably isn't as straight-forward as those steps above, right? Any feedback on what to do differently than the above or should I just stick with the above?

    Things to do once connected new G-Sync monitor

    I'm getting my G-Sync monitor today.

    I think I have to take the following steps:

    • Connect 1440p G-sync monitor with DP cable
    • Connect second 1080p 60Hz monitor by HDMI
    • Startup PC
    • Reinstall display driver
    • Restart PC (I always do that after display driver install)
    • Activate G-Sync in NV control panel (I believe also V-Sync is auto on after that?)
    • Set my 1440p monitor from 1080p to 1440p
    • Calibrate my 1440p monitor
    Also ingame, I should turn off V-Sync?
    Are there any problems running a second 60Hz 1080p monitor?

    Is there anything else I should do/know?
