Windows 10: If I buy a computer that comes with Windows 10 Home and I wanted to use Windows 10 Pro

Hi


If I buy a computer that comes with Windows 10 Home OEM version regardless of the brand of the computer.

(Dell,HP,Acer,Lenovo,etc) and I intend to use Windows 10 Pro OEM version to be install on a new SSD or Hard Disk on the same computer.


May I know how the Windows 10 Product Key Works.


Can I use both Windows 10 Home and Windows 10 Pro on the same computer?


Or the product key is limited to one per computer.


Once I upgrade to Windows 10 Pro will it only be using Pro instead of Home?


What if I am using Windows 10 Pro retail instead of OEM.


Any differences???


Another question is there is no ISO Download for the Windows 10 OEM System Builder Version for Windows 10 Latest update build.



Will the OEM computer still works using the download iso below,

Buying Windows 10 questions...

So, I want to buy a copy of Windows 10. I used to do it in retail stores in the past, but now I want to do it online. It seems cheaper as a download, but I'm wondering few things which are a bit confusing...

So, this is what I want to buy. How do I know what type of Windows is this (apart from knowing it's a Pro version)? It doesn't say whether it is 32bit or 64bit so I'm assuming it will give me both. It also doesn't say if this is a full version that I can re-install countless times on countless new motherboards/CPU's/disks opposed to OEM/DSP which have limited number of activation and you can't transfer them across different hardware. OEM/DSP can usually only be bought with new hardware/computer.

So, I'm assuming this is the actual full fat Windows 10 Pro 32bit/64bit that I'll be getting. Am I correct?

Also, can I buy it in Microsoft Store US opposed to my local one? The price difference is stupendously high.

Windows 10 upgrade problem, no input accepted

I really hate having to come here and ask for help, but I really am stumped. It hurts my geek pride. I have a PC with fairly modern hardware in it. It has a p8p67 pro in it. I have tried upgrading windows 10 on it twice now. Both times I have had the same result.

After windows finishes upgrading it goes to the log in/set up screen. I can't do anything. No keyboard or mouse input is accepted.

I will list some, or hopefully all, of the troubleshooting steps I have tried:

• Move keyboard and mouse to different USB ports.
• Try different keyboard or mouse.
• Restart computer, repeatedly.
• Google for related issues.
• Update Bios, because why not.
• Create boot media and revert to windows 7.

The windows 10 system restore boot media works fine with keyboard and mouse. All USB ports work in windows 7. I don't know what is wrong. I suspect that windows 10 is lacking a driver of some sort, but since the computer accepts no input I have no way of checking for which driver let alone installing it.

Please help me figure this out. If I have to revert back to windows 7 again, I am not going to get it upgraded to windows 10. Thank you in advanced.
