  1. If I click on check for updates later after Windows looked for updates will it still check...

That's say that I hit check for updates at like 4 pm but it already checked for updates at 2 pm will it still check for updates at 2 pm the next day or will it now check for them at 4? And before I clicked check for updates it automatically checked for them at 2 everyday before that.

Sorry if this is a stupid question.

Minor suggestion for Check for updates

No, I know that. Exactly where I suggest this to be changed, please note.
    Sorry for not being clear.

The Check for updates small window currently does not show what I ask to be added - program version. Please consider adding this. Many other programs have this, so I suggest for GPU-Z to have it too.

Windows update cannot currently check for updates.

So I got this laptop thats running Windows 7 and has the dreaded "Windows update cannot currently check for updates" error and I have tried pretty much everything I can find on the net but still it wont start. Im pretty sure if I change a 1 to a 0 in the registry it will get it working but I cant remember where that is exactly to do that (Did it yrs ago)

If anyone could help or give ideas and links for me to try to get it to work that would be much appreciated.

I already have tried everything from this webpage > Solved: Windows update cannot currently check for updates in Windows 8, 7 or Vista - wintips.org - Windows Tips & How-tos

Windows update cannot currently check for updates.

You verified the Windows Update Service is running in Services.msc?

Check this out: Script Reset Windows Update Agent

I explain how to use it in my Windows OS Repair Thread (in sig). Might save you some time over a fresh install. *Toast :toast:
