If I have multiple SSDs is it better to assign the non-OS SSD to be the Virtual Memory device?

    Hi Everyone!

If I have multiple SSDs, My OS SSD will be 1TB and I have a secondary 500Gb SSD, would it be better to reassign the virtual memory

to be the secondary 500Gb SSD, or is there no real advantage to doing so?

    Thank you,

  2. Is c: OS an SSD or an SSD???

I want to set virtual memory to my laptop for better performance but IDK if my drive is an SSD or HDD and if i do this with an SSD, I will see degraded performance. I want to know so I can make the performance better on my laptop.

  3. SSD - copy or reinstall OS?

I'd personally create a system image and restore that system image to the ssd

I prefer Macrium Reflect but I'm sure the other can do the same,

Each ssd manufacture has a utility to update the ssd's firmware and adjust settings in the os to optimize the life of the ssd

    Samsung magician for one

Windows 10 does do a lot better with ssd's than prior windows versions.

How to create Virtual Memory on a secondary SSD: Virtual memory, also known as a Page file, adds to the physical RAM by using disk space.
