Windows 10: If I install the game on a drive other than C drive and do gaming then how many GB of C...

If I install the game on a drive other than C drive and do gaming then how many GB of C drive is required for Windows setup for good gaming? What would be your advice?

(C Drive

I want to install some games on my computer, but apparently my (C drive of 120 GB is full, but I do not really have anything big that would take up a lot of storage except for League of Legends, Paladins, Minecraft, and Overwatch. I ordered an external
hard drive with 500 GB that is coming soon, but is there anything else I can do? I tried to extend volume on my (C drive, but that would not work either.

 

Installed game on D drive, MS Store tries to update to C drive.

So I have an issue where I downloaded a game on my D drive by using the "Change where new content is installed" in storage settings, it downloaded to the D drive without much issue. But now that I want to update the game, it keeps trying to
reinstall the entire game instead of just downloading the update. I keep getting an error as it keeps trying to reinstall the entire thing, because it is trying to reinstall the newest version it on to my C drive, which doesn't have space.

Basically I can't get the MS Store to recognize that I already downloaded a game onto my D drive in order for it to update, instead of whenever I try to update the game it tries to reinstall it onto my C drive.

I tried resetting the MS store, changing where new content is installed back and forth, clearing caches etc, but whenever I open the MS store page of the game it just automatically begins to download into my C drive, and proceeds to fail.

 

Difference between C: drive and F: drive

you cannot extend space of C drive from F drive.

But you can move your personal files say, videos photos, MP3 and documents to F drive..

Currently if you using Harddisk for C drive, then you should use SSD of higher capacity say 1TB or 2TB , if you installing heavy GB games. In future Triple A games get minimum 100GB file.
