    Hello.The question i have it. Will my old PC Data for example, Files, games and alot of information Still stay in the PC when you install the new SSD?As in when you install the new SSD will i/the person see the old Files, games and alot of information ? I am debating on putting back my old SSD to wipe the PC fully but im not certain because the SATA port is very close to the GPU and i am scared ill break it.Thanks!

    Can I install Windows on new SSD on old PC?

    I built a custom PC some time ago and purchased and installed Windows 10. I recently built a new PC where I did a fresh install of a new purchased Windows 11 USB and moved the SSD from the old computer to the new one.

    I want to give my old PC to my parents to use. Can I install the windows 10 i bought for the old PC on to a new SSD that I place in the old PC?

    New ssd won't boot up without old ssd attached to pc - new ssd only has one partition

    Only the old ssd is listed in the boot order as the new ssd doesn't have an MBR partition.

    The pc recognizes both devices as connected (and I use the new ssd for more than a year with windows installed on it) it just doesn't have the necessary partition for booting up, thats why the ssd doesn't show up as an option in the boot order.

    Fresh Install of Windows 10 Home in new SSD

    I have this Dell N4010 Laptop that I want to upgrade with an SSD and use the existing HDD as Data drive. I have an original windows of digital license.

    Please suggest how I can install a fresh copy of the windows in my new SSD with the existing license. And please suggest how to activate the new installation of Windows.
