    if i try to open paint 3d with snipping tool it tells me i dont have it


    if i use snipping tool or the "open with paint 3d" option in file explorer it tell me this "youll need a new app to open this ms-paint link" and the only option is to look in the store and i cant look for more apps i never changed anything and i cant attach an image to this because they fail to upload

    Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.



    This issue may occur if there is a gap in Paint 3D image.

    Sometime gaps can exist but not be easily detected, overlapping lines in 3D don’t see a gap.

    Could you post a screen shot of your work to help us resolve this issue more quickly with more refined instructions.

    Snipping Tool and take a screenshot.



    Also suggest you to refer Art
    tools in Paint 3D.

    Snipping tool to Paint 3D not working automatically

    Hi,
    My snipping tool recently does not launch paint 3d when clicking on paint 3d icon/tool , instead i have to go to store and search for paint 3d to open it up.

    is there anyway to restore it back to opening paint 3d when the icon is clicked?

    there is no way to restore it back to opening paint 3d when the icon is clicked in snipping tool.

    You have to save screenshot in snipping tool, and You have to open Paint 3D app separately. You have to open that screenshot in Paint 3D app.
