Windows 10: if i turn my brightness up the screen gets darker and i hear this fan or like static sound...

HelloI use a Windows 10 computer and one day I had my brightness all the way up as I usually do and all of a sudden it started flashing dark colors you can still see but it looks like it is at the darkest setting when this happens I can hear this fan or static sound that I have tried turning down my brightness and that seems to stop it but eventually that brightness gets attacked by the flashing darkness of doom so I am not sure about this I have gone to power settings I have gone to display settings and I still don't know what's wrong if anybody could have a possible solution to this I would

I tried the troubleshooter before and it doesn't identify the problem. It asks me to turn off sound effects and enhancements but when I turn off the bass boost then the static sound is even worse. So i keep the bass boost on but i can still hear static sound.

 

Screen gets darker shortly after startup

When my computer starts up after being shut down or restarted, shortly after the login screen appears the screen will suddenly get darker. I have tried the following to fix it already without success:

• I have updated my video card drivers.
• I have updated the monitor drivers and the software for my monitor.
• Through my monitor's software, I have turned off any automatic brightness adjusting features. (I've also done this through the options on the monitor itself.)
• I have turned off adaptive brightness for Windows.

This has been going on for many months, maybe even a year. Any other suggestions would be appreciated. I am getting into a field where I will need to do color-sensitive work on this computer, so this needs to be fixed. Let me know any information you need
about the computer and monitor and I'll provide it.

 

How to make text darker on windows 10 screen?

If you are referring to ClearType, you can choose the darker text available when prompted. We also suggest to adjust the Brightness/Contrast of your flat panel. If you wish to have darker text, you can turn up the contrast.
