Lost Office license after upgrading to SSD

I lost my Microsoft office license after upgrading my pc from HDD to SSD. The pc came with free Office.

 

How will upgrading to Windows 10 with a VOLUME license work...

If your computer qualifies for an upgrade then Windows 10 will usually use the key which was already activated in the base Operating system, but this was in non-volume license Editions. But as volume license for Windows 10 has not been released,
we do not have the actual information as to how this will actually work. Therefore I would suggest you to wait till volume license edition will be released.

You need to contact the
volume license center as we have no idea what specific license you have. They are the only place that can supply keys or links for the downloads

 

Windows 10 upgrade license

Hello guys,

I have 1 license of WIndows 8.1 FPP/retail license. I want to upgrade to WIndows 10, but I one thing is unclear to me.
If I upgrade, will WIndows 10 license be retail or it will "turn" into some sort of OEM license?

I ask this because I upgrade my PC, you know, more memory, replace HDD, and I intend to upgrade the MB and CPU to Kaby Lake platform sometime in the future, (and of course sell the replaced hardware)
This thing is not clearly mentioned anywhere.
