Can't install games with game pass

Hi Ashenath,

If you can’t install Game Pass Games on your PC, follow these suggestions:

Check if you have the right Game Pass

Clear Cache of Xbox Game Pass App

Update to the latest Windows 10 version,viz v1903

Admin privileges for Games

Give Admin privileges for Games

Check Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter

Repair Game if it keeps crashing or doesn’t work

Cannot Sign in to Xbox Live

Not permissions in WindowsApps from Game Pass Pc

To address your concern, kindly help us with the following questions:

• 1. What is the exact error message/code you receive while trying to access WindowsApps?
     
  2. May I know how you changed the permission settings to the files?
     
  3. What is the current OS build of your Windows 10 machine?
     
     (Type winver in the Start menu and press
     Enter)
     
  4. Is there any specific reason for modifying the files?
     

Before we proceed with the other troubleshooting steps, I would suggest you to check the steps listed below to change the permission settings accordingly:

• Right click on any folder (parent folder) and select
  Properties to open the folder properties window.
  
• In Properties window, select the
  Security tab.
  
• Click on Advanced button.
  If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
  
• Under Permissions section, click on
  Change button, type Everyone,
  then click Check Names and click Ok.
  
• Click on Add
  and click on Select a Principal.
  
• Type Everyone,
  then click Check Names and click on
  OK.
  
• Check the checkbox for
  Full Control and click Ok.
  
• Click Apply
  and then click OK.
  

Once the permissions are set, click on Advanced
button and go to the Auditing section next to the
Permissions tab:

• Click on Change button, type
  Everyone, then click Check Names and
  Ok.
  
• Click on Add
  and click on Select a Principal.
  
• Type Everyone,
  then click Check Names and click on
  OK.
  
• Check the checkbox for
  Full Control and click Ok.
  
• Click Apply
  and then click OK.
  
• Click Ok
  in the folder properties window to close it.
  
• Try sharing the folder and see if it is accessible from other computers on the network.
