    Wrong Password


    The "Old Password" is the password to your local account. It is about to change your local account to a Microsoft Account. If you don't mind this, then enter your local account password. If you think this is overly intrusive of Microsoft, don't do it and let Cortana die.

    My account is blocked after failed attempts of entering the password

    I am unable to get through my account after I've entered the wrong password and now it is blocked. I tried to reset it through "Forgot Password" but it's not sending me the code and it doesn't work (the page just loads back to the same page and it doesn't go through the next step). I've tried the account recovery form but it says that I don't have sufficient information to validate it.

    I've read online that I have to wait for a few days for it to be unblocked but how long do I have to wait? It's been 24 hours now and it's still blocked.
