  1. If you delete a local user from your system will the AppData folder be lost?

I have 2 local user accounts on my system. USER1 was created when I was installing Windows 11 on my PC and USER2 is my primary Microsoft account. I have been trying to transfer everything from USER1 to my primary account but there is one giant AppData folder present under USER1 that is marked as hidden. There is already an AppData folder created under USER2 which leaves me with 2 AppData folders.I am going to delete USER1 because I want my system to have only one user account but I am afraid of what will happen to the AppData folder linked to it. Does Windows retain this folder when you delete

    :)

    Lost appdata folder

If you are signed in successfully and everything is working it's highly unlikely that you've lost it. Your AppData folder is a hidden folder by default. Check in File Explorer that you have set its option to show hidden files and folders.
