Windows 10: If you have trouble with windowsdefender link - reinstall windows 11

On the Microsoft website one of the Windows 11 installation options is the make an installation USB. I couldn't just download and reinstall.After the UBS was created, I rebooted my Laptop.When it came back into Windows 11, I went to File Explorer, found my USB, opened it and ran "Setup"One of the setup options is to keep your files. I chose that. It takes a while to reinstall Windows 11; but Windows Security Defender link works now.It's perfect!!The installation USB works on other computers, too. The installation USB works on other computers, too. With those, I had to started from scratch.

To get started I went to "Download Windows 11"

"Create Windows 11 Installation Media"

"Download Now"

I changed the boot options on my other computer.

 

Windows 11- Can't access Windows Security. Tried all the fixes I could find.

I had to rebuild my computer and reinstall Win 10, then Win 11. Now, when I try to get into Windows Security, I get a "Get an app to open this "windowsdefender" link" message. So far, I have tried:

• Updating Windows
  
• I can't repair/reset the App because it doesn't show up in the App list.
  
• Using Powershell to run "Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.SecHealthUI -AllUsers | Reset-AppxPackage"
  
• Someone suggested looking for Microsoft.SecHealthUI_8wekyb3d8bbwe.appx and reinstalling it. It's not on my computer.
  
• sfc /scannow - no problems found
  

I have Windows 11 Pro 22H2 22621.963 64-bit.

The taskbar icon is warning me that there are recommended actions, but it won't tell me what they are, just gives the same error message.

Windows Security System is running and is on Manual.

I do not have a third-party antivirus/firewall software package installed.

The only other suggestion I found was to reinstall Windows. I'd hate to have to do that again. Are there any other options?

Windows 11 reinstall

Hi there I'm using a dell inspiron 3501.

I always experience BSODs in my windows 11 PC. So now I'm trying to reinstall windows 11. I have backed up all the important files as well...

But at the moment I am confused whether should I reset my PC by removing all the files or clean install or a fresh start. Can you give me any suggestion and how the method actually works and the steps that I should follow to reinstall windows 11?
