Windows 10: If you missing/disappear the Start-Up Setting in the Advance Options, please follow my step...

I am from Cambodia. I would like to share my experience to resolve the issue missing/disappear the Start-Up Setting in the Advance Options. If you cannot find the Start-Up Setting in the Advance Options, please follow my step to resolved it. Solution: ESC key --> Advance Options --> UEFI Firmware Setting --> Restart --> Storage --> Change your storage option to NVM --> Apply Change --> Exit --> Input BitLocker Key If any --> Choose Number 4 --> done.I hope my solution will help you. Advanced Start up options and bcdedit missing in windows 10 with deepin(Linux) dual boot

I understand your concern, I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if you are able see the Advance startup options:

To start Windows in safe mode or get to other startup settings:

1. Select the Start button, then choose
   Settings.
2. Select Update & security > Recovery.
3. Under Advanced startup select Restart now.
4. After your PC restarts to the Choose an option screen, select
   Troubleshoot > Advanced options >
   Startup Settings > Restart.
5. After the PC restarts, select Disable Driver Signature Enforcement
   by pressing the corresponding number.

You can also do it from the sign-in screen.

1. On the sign-in screen, hold the Shift key down while you select
   Power > Restart (in the lower-right corner of the screen).
2. After your PC restarts to the Choose an option screen, select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart.
3. After your PC restarts, select Disable Driver Signature Enforcement
   from the list of options by pressing the corresponding number on your keyboard.

If you are still unable to see the options in advance startup settings, I suggest you to enable advance startup options using the follow command.

To do that,

1. Type CMD in the Windows search bar.
2. Right click on CMD and click on Run as administrator option.
3. Copy paste the following command reagentc /enable.
4. Restart the PC into WinRE mode and check if you able to see the options.

Computer Sleep Option Missing in Settings

The Settings Power and Sleep menu in Settings should list Screen and Sleep, where Sleep is used to tell when the PC goes to sleep. Sleep is missing, so my computer never sleeps. Fast startup and Hibernate are not enabled. I used Tutorial Add or Remove Sleep in Power menu in Windows 10 to change the registry while in administrative mode, but sleep still is not seen. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FlyoutMenuSettings now lists :1: It was 0 before the change.

I cannot get a large image, so will type Default REG_SZ (value not set) ShowHibernate REG_DWORD 0X00000000 (0) ShowLockOption REG_DWORD 0X00000000 (1) ShowLockOption REG_DWORD 0X00000000 (1) I used Option 3 to add sleep using the Group Policy Editor. The steps seemed to work fine, but sleep is still missing. I’m using a “new” refurbished Dell T3500 workstation with mbr running the current version of win10. I have a number of these computers, and the other all have the normal sleep mode . Any suggestions? Jim
