Windows 10: IFA 2019: Acer ConceptD Pro and Predator Triton 300 notebooks

At IFA 2019, Acer announced its ConceptD Pro series notebook family with NVIDIA Quadro GPUs, built for peak performance and hours of uninterrupted use. The Pro series with Windows 10 meets the stringent requirements of applications in virtual reality, artificial intelligence and big data analytics. The notebooks also feature amber backlit keyboards.

The new ConceptD Pro series notebooks featuring 9th Generation Intel Core processors and Windows 10 are designed not only for professional creators but also AI engineers and software developers.

At the top end, the ConceptD 9 Pro is a 17.3-inch notebook that targets complex engineering simulations with up to NVIDIA Quadro RTX 5000 GPUs with 16GB VRAM and 32 GB of DDR4 memory. Thanks to Acer’s CNC-machined Ezel Aero Hinge, the 4K display (3840 x 2160) can flip, extend and recline for convenient collaboration between team members. It’s aimed to handle AI/deep learning, engineering simulations and large animation studios requiring power, flexibility and cross-compatibility. A Wacom EMR stylus is also included and magnetically attaches to the device.

At 15.6 inches, the ConceptD 7 Pro is designed for power on-the-go with up to NVIDIA Quadro RTX 5000 GPUs with 16 GB VRAM and 32 GB of DDR4 memory. This model is ideal for data scientists, software developers, engineers and professional design studios who demand power, flexibility and compatibility that is tested with all certified professional software applications.

The ConceptD 5 Pro is aimed at users in the advanced creative space and is available with 15- and 17-inch options – both with 4K UHD resolution – and NVIDIA Quadro RTX 3000 GPUs. It’s a device geared for complex CAD design, animation and simulation workflows, so it’s designed to appeal to architects, 3D animators, special effects producers and small design studios.

The ConceptD 3 Pro is a notebook for creators like photographers, industrial design students and graphic designers, featuring NVIDIA Quadro T1000 GPUs and a PANTONE-Validated display. Users can process all their media with true color reproduction and can login via a touch of the built-in fingerprint reader through Windows Hello for easy and more secure access.

Finally, the new ConceptD CM2241W is a desktop monitor featuring a slim bezel, excellent color accuracy supporting 99% of the Adobe RGB color gamut and hyper-smooth viewing, with a refresh rate up to 75 Hz.

Acer also introduced the Predator Triton 300 gaming notebook, which expands the Triton line with an affordable solution for mainstream gamers who also appreciate thin and lightweight designs. Up to a 9th Generation Intel Core i7 Processor is paired with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 GPU and 16GB of DDR4 2666Hz memory (upgradable to 32GB). To accommodate massive amounts of game storage, it will support up to two 1TB PCIe NVMe SSDs in RAID 0 and up to a 2TB hard drive. Killer Wi-Fi 6 AX 1650, along with Killer Ethernet, keeps the action moving quickly and lag-free.

A bright 15.6-inch Full-HD IPS display with a narrow bezel design includes a 144Hz refresh rate and 3ms overdrive response time, delivering realistic graphics and colors that pop, highlight every detail and bring games to life.

Now with a 300Hz 15.6-inch Full-HD display, the Predator Triton 500 is a powerful gaming notebook slimmed down to just .70 inches thin and weighing 4.6 pounds. It has a durable, all-metal chassis and narrow bezels for an 81% body-to-screen ratio.

In addition to these announcements, Acer also debuted refreshed models in its popular Swift ultra-portable notebook and Aspire all-in-one desktop ranges, all powered by the latest 10th Generation Intel Core processors and Windows 10.

The latest generation, 14-inch Swift 5 weighs just 990 grams with a new discrete NVIDIA GeForce MX250 graphics option, or even less with solely integrated Intel Iris Pro graphics while measuring just 14.95 mm thin. The screen features a three-side narrow bezel with a high screen-to-body ratio of 86.4%. It has a full-function USB3.1 Type-C connector that supports Thunderbolt 3, dual-band Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) and supports Windows Hello through a fingerprint reader.

The Swift 3 packs a lot of power into its 15.95 mm thin chassis with up to a 10th Generation Intel Core i7-1065G7 processor and an optional discrete NVIDIA GeForce MX250 GPU, keeping everything running at its optimum speed. It also includes up to 512 GB PCIe Gen 3×4 SSD storage, 16GB LPDDR4 RAM and dual-band Wi-Fi 6, for a smoother and more enjoyable wireless experience, making it an ultra-portable, supercharged laptop for work and play. It delivers up to 12.5 hours of battery life and fast charging capabilities: 30 minutes charging can provide four hours of battery life in video playback conditions.

Within its space-saving design, the ultra-thin Aspire C all-in-one comes with plenty of practical features for both students and the whole family to enjoy. It is available with 27-inch, 24-inch and 22-inch Full HD IPS screen options, all powered by 10th Generation Intel Core processors and an optional discrete NVIDIA MX130 GPU.

CES 2019: Acer debuts new compact Swift 7 and Predator Tritons

At CES 2019, Acer introduces the thin and light Swift 7 (SF714-52T) with a new premium chassis. An honoree of a CES 2019 Innovation Award, its ultra-narrow bezels make it virtually borderless, giving the Swift 7 a 92 percent screen-to-body ratio. It’s feather-light too, so that traveling professionals who carry a notebook through the day will rejoice at its weight: just two pounds.

Designed for portability, it’s made with magnesium-lithium and magnesium-aluminum alloys, which also keeps the keyboard sturdy and provides solid support while typing. These materials are two to four times stronger than standard aluminum alloys at the same thickness, yet are up to 20 to 35 percent lighter. Acer also applied a micro-arc oxidation finish to create a surface with an elegant, ceramic-like material.

Powered by the latest 8th Generation Intel Core i7-8500Y processor, it delivers top-notch performance for presentations and spreadsheets, and even when using creator tools. You can store a large amount of files and quickly get to them, with up to 512 GB of fast PCIe SSD storage. With up to 16 GB of LPDDR3 RAM, you can multitask smoothly. And with 10 hours [1] of battery life, customers can use their Swift 7 well into the evening.

You can accomplish more using the two USB Type-C ports supporting Thunderbolt 3, USB 3.1 Generation 2. The Display Port 1.3 makes for fast data transfers at up to 10 Gbps and supports high-resolution external displays and speedy charging of external devices. Connectivity with the Acer Swift 7 is reliable and super-fast with WiFi5 featuring 2×2 MU-MIMO technology. Peripherals can also be connected via Bluetooth 5.0.

Jet-setting professionals will appreciate the Swift 7’s design, which includes a backlit, chiclet keyboard with well-spaced keys, 1.1 mm of travel distance and responsive feedback. The Corning Gorilla Glass touchpad is precise and responsive while scrolling and navigating. It also has an integrated click button, support for multi-touch gestures and a responsive physical click. Plus, the power button doubles as a fingerprint reader so customers can simultaneously turn on the device while securely logging in password-free through Windows Hello.

The new Swift 7 features a push-to-open camera for webchats and video recording that can be kept closed to prevent unintended camera usage and to protect privacy. When opened, it has a 55 degree angle of view and features high-dynamic-range (HDR) to deliver images in wider viewing angles to accommodate groups.

Acer is also delivering two new gaming notebooks, the Predator Triton 900, a premium performance notebook featuring a slim design and convertible display; and the Predator Triton 500, an all-metal gaming powerhouse measuring just 17.9 mm thin. Both gaming notebooks combine new, functional designs with powerful internals that rival some gaming desktops.

The Predator Triton 900 and 500 both earn their gaming cred with Acer’s advanced cooling system that includes 4th Generation AeroBlade 3D metal fans that increase airflow by 45 percent, and Coolboost technology that keeps the notebooks cool during extended gaming sessions and while playing demanding AAA titles.

The Predator Triton 900 is a 17-inch gaming notebook in an inventive form factor with innovative new design features. It has a CNC-machined Ezel Aero Hinge that flips, extends or reclines the display. Users can switch between four usage modes: display mode for sharing the screen with friends during gaming sessions, Ezel mode for playing games on the touch screen, notebook mode for traditional gaming scenarios, and stand mode — effectively turning the Triton 900 into a tablet for gaming or using creator tools. The Triton series’ trackpad is placed beside the keyboard, giving users natural hand placement for gaming using both. It’s also on the slim side at 0.94 inches.

Featuring the latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 GPU and a 17-inch 4K IPS [2] display with NVIDIA G-SYNC, the Predator Triton 900 pulls no punches in delivering a best-in-class gaming experience. With up to an 8th Generation Intel Core i7 processor, NVMe PCIe RAID 0 SSDs, and up to 32 GB DDR4 memory, you can power up the most demanding games and expect smooth, tear-free gameplay. It comes bundled with an Xbox wireless receiver so you can play your favorite PC games on Windows 10 with an Xbox controller. To round out the package, Waves Maxx technology, featuring Waves Nx motion tracking, delivers a hyper-realistic 3D audio experience with pin-point sound location and accuracy.

The Predator Triton 500 is a powerful 15.6-inch Full HD gaming notebook slimmed down to just 0.70 inches and weighing 4.6 pounds. It has a durable, all-metal chassis and narrow bezels measuring just 0.25 inches for an 81 percent body-to-screen ratio. The slimmed down Triton 500 can easily be slipped in a backpack or briefcase, but once taken out and powered on, it becomes a gaming powerhouse. And with up to 8 hours of battery life [3], users can play their favorite titles on the road or with friends away from home.

The Predator Triton 500 features up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 GPUs with Max-Q Design, up to 8th Generation Intel Core i7 processors, NVMe PCIe RAID 0 SSDs, and up to 32 GB DDR4 memory. Its GPU is overclockable and VR-Ready, letting gamers enjoy the latest cutting edge gaming and VR experiences. The 15.6-inch 300 nits IPS display brings games to life with 144 Hz refresh rates in overdrive at 3ms. NVIDIA G-SYNC technology [4] creates fluid images as they zip across the screen while gaming or watching movies.

Acer Unleashes Predator Triton 700 Compact Gaming Notebook

At Acer's next@acer global press conference in New York today, the company unveiled the powerful and thin Predator Triton 700 gaming notebook. The notebook's svelte 18.9 mm (.74 inch), 2.6kg (5.7 pound) aluminum chassis houses a 15.6-inch FHD IPS display and best-in-class computing technologies, striking just the right balance of size and performance without sacrificing thermals, features or rigidity.

"Building on the highly acclaimed Predator 21 X curved gaming notebook, Acer is proud to announce the new Predator Triton 700, an incredibly thin yet powerful gaming notebook," said Jerry Hou, General Manager, Consumer Notebooks, IT Products Business, Acer Inc. "Our industry-leading AeroBlade 3D Fan with metal blades provides ultimate thermal performance, which allows us to pack massive computing power inside this ultrathin form factor without compromise."

As the first of the new ultrathin Predator Triton gaming notebook series, its understated black chassis features a minimalist design, with straight contours and angular front corners. A large Corning Gorilla Glass plate above the keyboard serves as a window into the notebook's cooling system, showcasing the AeroBlade 3D Fan and five heat pipes, and also functions as a touchpad.

Powering the beast within is a standard-voltage 7th Generation Intel Core processor, latest high-performance NVIDIA GeForce 10-Series graphics, two NVMe PCIe[1] SSDs in RAID 0 configuration and up to 32GB of DDR4 2400MHz memory.

"Acer is driving some incredible new products for the gaming and VR-ready category and Intel is excited to work together to push what's possible on the PC platform," said Frank Soqui, General Manager of the Virtual Reality and Gaming Group at Intel Corporation. For a truly immersive gaming experience, the VR-ready Predator Triton 700 offers bright, vibrant visuals on a 15.6-inch FHD IPS display with NVIDIA G-SYNC support for connecting to an external monitor. Acer TrueHarmony deliver immersive audio with crisp, rich acoustics, while Skype for Business Certification ensures conversations are clear and lag-free.

Rounding out the notebook's powerful features are Killer DoubleShot Pro networking and Thunderbolt 3 connectivity, which provides speeds up to 40 Gbps and supports dual 4K video output. The Predator Triton 700 also includes two USB 3.0 ports (featuring power-off USB charging), one USB 2.0 port, an HDMI 2.0 port, one DisplayPort connector and a Gigabit Ethernet port for those preferring a hard-wired connection. Networking is powered by Killer DoubleShot Pro technology, which picks the fastest network connection (Ethernet or Wireless) and sends all high priority traffic over that interface, while standard traffic is sent over the other.

Of course, no gaming notebook is complete without a mechanical keyboard, which delivers a satisfying typing experience and fast, accurate response times. The keys are RGB backlit and can be individually programmed.

PredatorSense software enables gamers to control and customize the Predator Triton 700's vitals from one central interface, including lighting, hotkeys, fan control and general system monitoring.

The Triton's dual fan system is powered by Acer's proprietary AeroBlade 3D Fans with ultra-thin metal blades to keep the device running nice and cool, even when the action heats up.

The Predator Triton 700 gaming notebook will be available in North America in August starting at $2,999; and in EMEA in August starting at EUR3,399.

Olá, boa tarde, comprei um notebook Acer Predator Helios 300, porém o mesmo vem com o Windows10 Home Single Language, gostaria de saber, qual o melhor procedimento para fazer e/ou instalação para o sistema Windows 10 Pro?
e, caso instale a versão Pro, há uma perda de garantia, pois o equipamento está com garantia até Julho de 2019, a última versão da versão 1809, ao fazer uma busca vi que tem várias opções de versões, gostaria de saber qual seria a correta para
fazer uma instalação / procedimento?
