    IKEv2 connection disconnects after 5 minutes


    hi Guys,so I am trying to establish an IKEv2 connection between a Windows 11 machine and a Strongswan IPSec Server. I can start the connection, I can use it, but after 5 Minutes the Windows machine deletes the Child_SA, yet keeps the IKE_SA according to the server log and shows that it's connected. there is no error message whatsoever.Server log of the disconnect:07.05.2025 12:35:14IPSec01[NET] received packet: from 10.1.98.20[4500] to 10.1.98.40[4500] 88 bytes07.05.2025 12:35:14IPSec01[ENC] parsed INFORMATIONAL request 6 [ D ]07.05.2025 12:35:14IPSec01[IKE] received DELETE for ESP CHIL

    • If you have an identical laptop try comparing the wifi and security settings of the one that does not disconnect with the one that does. If you find any differences change the settings of the one that does not work to the one that does.

    A problem of Windows 10 VPN (Ikev2) connection

    I tried to use ikev2 VPN on my windows 10 laptop, and connected successfully (at least it showed "connected"). However, when I checked my IP on google, it suggested that it didn't connect me to the VPN server at all. And other methods also proved that my
    laptop didn't get access to the Internet via ikev2 VPN.

    So are there anyone who also meet the same problem? Is it a bug on windows 10, or just something I do is wrong?

    IKEv2 connection disconnects after 5 minutes

    Wifi disconnects every 5 minutes.

    I am having issues with my computer, I'm on windows 10. My wifi disconnect every 5-ish minutes, when I reconnect the wifi adapter, it works for 5 minutes and disconnects again. Works on all other devices, I tried to update/install network drivers, but I
    can't figure out how.
