LS27BG402ENXG0 Odessey Monitor - My Graphic Card 3070 supports up to four displays via one 2.1 HDMI and three DisplayPort 1.4a ports ----My new monitor cables are 1 x DisplayPort 1.2, --- 2 x HDMI 2.0. The HDMI cable works fine, and I understand that HDMI port only supports AMD Free Sync Premium, so even if you connect NVIDIA graphics card to HDMI port, it will be indicated as Free Sync Premium on OSD. I've never used the display port connector or port. I understan

    1. What is the make and model of your monitor?
    2. Were you able to use HDR, prior to this issue?
    3. Was there any major change or update on your system, before which you were able to use the HDR option over display port 1.4?

  3. Swap display port and HDMI port ourputs on Windows 10, Dell XPS 8920

The answer to your question is "yes" I want monitor 2 as the "primary" monitor. While after following the suggested steps and rebooting, it initially appears that the screens have switched. However, the display tab window still shows the older monitor as
#1 and when I click the "identify" button the black number squares seem to verify that the older monitor connected to the "display port" is still #1. Since on reboot the HDMI port monitor came up first for my windows 10 log in, I have to assume it is now the
"primary" monitor, contrary to the visual information in the display tab window. Very confusing as I ASSUMED (you know what that does) that "display #1" and "primary" meant the same thing.

Thanks for your information and do I just ignore the contrary display information? Could this have something to do with a BIOS setting in the Dell tower? Capt. Brigg

    Display port confusion

If the motherboard has integrated video, it might be trying to display from that and you'd need to set the BIOS to use the card. If there's a video port on the motherboard, try it.
