Windows 10: I'm basically stuck in a loop.

Hello there, I need some help regarding my PC. I recently installed the Windows Insider Build for Education edition. Everything seemed to be working fine now and then but a few weeks later, my laptop just stopped working. Whenever I try to make it go into recovery environment, it just crashes with a green screen and error code "UNMOUNTABLE BOOT VOLUME".


So basically now, I can't even reinstall Windows or repair my PC. I even installed a copy of windows 10 on my pendrive using the Media tool, but I can't even get to the point where it asks me to reset/and or troubleshoot.


This is how it usually goes:

1. I start the laptop, it loads for a few seconds

2. Shows the Windows logo and a few circles loading below it

3. Then basically turns into a black screen with just the cursor and nothing else.

4. I restart a few times to enable recovery environment but it crashes just before it appears with the "UNMOUNTABLE BOOT VOLUME" error code.



Please help me fix this. Do not give bot replies, I cannot even get to the point where I can re-install windows or reset it.

Windows 10 Stuck on “Restoring your previous version of Windows” loop

I don't wish to be rude, but you are singularly failing to address the issue here. Basically, these people, like me have got their computer stuck in a loop. The machine keeps starting, trying to restore, failing and restarting and trying to restore and
restarting and ... (well, you get the picture).

There is no process or procedure that can be operated because .. well ... the machine won't start because it's stuck in the loop.

Please try to offer a practical solution to a problem that your company has created.

I suggest that the first step to resolution is to actually read the questions and address the issue - which is 'we can't get our machines to start because they're stuck in this damned loop'. Tell us how to get out of the loop first.
