Windows 10: I’m being given “ERR_NETWORK_ACCESS_DENIED” on all browsers when I search, and no other...

I’ve tried the IT Crowd “off and on again”, reseting my firewall to factory settings, flushing my DNS, troubleshooting and checking my firewall settings. All I get is an error code: ERR_NETWORK_ACCESS_DENIEDWhat can I do to fix this?

ERR_NETWORK_ACCESS_DENIED

I have a surface pro Windows 10 (all the latest upgrades installed as of today) and using any browser can't connect to the internet. This problem wasn't associated with any system changes or app installations-just happened out of the blue.

I get "Your Internet access is blocked" and showing details get ERR_NETWORK_ACCESS_DENIED.

I've tried the following without any success in the order shown:

-ran trouble shooter which said I have a firewall or security issue.

-restart

-clear browser data (Chrome)

-tried different browser (Edge)

-delete network adapter and restart

-turn off firewall for public and private networks

-system restore to earlier date

-compared all network settings to those on my Surface Book 2 (Windows 10) which doesn't have this problem, and don't see any differences

What else should I do here? I saw a couple of threads but there's no information as they are locked. Seems like this would be a widely discussed issue.

ERR_NETWORK_ACCESS_DENIED: Internet access blocked on all browsers on one computer only

Hi,

when I try to open any site on Chrome or Internet Explorer I get an error message ERR_NETWORK_ACCESS_DENIED:

"Your internet access is blocked... firewall or antivirus software may have blocked the connection."

Other devices are opening sites fine over the same WiFi connection so it's not a problem with the router - on the other hand all browsers are being blocked so it's not a problem with Chrome either.

Reset/disabled my firewall (Avira) and added Chrome to the exceptions list etc, restarted my computer.

Anyone know how how to fix this? Driving me up the wall. Cheers!
