Windows 10: I'm confused. How do I remove OneDrive from one of my PC's without messing up outlook emails

Hi,Sorry but I'm confused with the removal of OneDrive.Essentially, I have two computers and I wish to totally remove Onedrive from one of them, ensuring any of those files in the cloud or device are removed - but definately retaining my outlook account emails.I have had a go trying several times but found it very confusing to remove Onedrive and files and I am now still not sure if everything has now been removed correctly, and I want to ensure the Onedrive synching stops.Could someone from MS please advise me if I have suceeded in this?Kind regards

Remove work email from onedrive messed up work email

I created a personal Onedrive account and used my work email address years ago. I had it synced to onedrive on my work laptop. As our work computers are going to be locked down , I changed the onedrive account email address to a personal gmail address. I no longer wish or need to sync the onedrive with my work pc, as it will no longer be possible in the near future due to corporate security

On my work pc I use Outlook . In Windows 10 Mail on my work pc, I noticed my personal gmail was listed as an email account. I removed it. Now my work email will not work because the data file is gone.

So even though I changed onedrive email , it made matters worse because now it seems like my personal gmail and my work email are somehow tied together

Outlook email not syncing with Windows PC

Hello, I really appreciate you taking the time to help out. I took the steps you said and didn't find an instance of my college email but did find my inactive Outlook email on there and deleted it from the credential list. I restarted my PC.

Unfortunately, I am still getting the same error. When I open my File Explorer and try logging into my OneDrive, it tells me that I cannot log in with a personal account (same as the previous error messages) -- but the pop-ups happen about five times immediately after the other. This is really exasperating and I'm not sure what else the problem could be.

If you have any other suggestions I would be very thankful.
