Windows 10: I'm currently experiencing a problem with my secondary ssd

I have installed a secondary ssd Western Digital SA510 and i have updated the firmware on it to version 52020100. Now if i run sfc /scannow and restart my laptop Dell G3 3500 , Its stuck in an infinite boot loop cycle, or if i enter the BIOS before the windows booting start my secondary SSD is not showing up there. But if i dont run the sfc command and restart my laptop it doesnt show any errors, it works fine. Why, and what does sfc do that make my computer not able to see my secoundary SSD?Sorry for any grammatical mistakes that i made, my english is not that good.

Windows Update Breaks Connection to Secondary Internal SSD

Frequently running Windows Update will cause my secondary internal SSD to be uninstalled and not visible to Device Manager... or any other software. Sometimes an ordinary re-boot will solve the problem. Other times the latest update must be backed out to correct the problem. This breakage has happened at least 3 times this year.
When Windows Update causes this problem, nothing can access the SSD. It cannot even be uninstalled, because it doesn't show up in the device list. When corrected, the drive is recognized as usual.
The problem has always been resolved without opening the computer box.
Drive: Internal Crucial (Micron) M500 SSD.
All indications show the drivers are current. The current driver is Microsoft 6/21/2006 version 10.0.19041.789

Windows 10 1909 Causes Secondary Hard Drive to not be Recognized

Installing the Windows 10 1909 Update causes my secondary hard drive to not be recognized.

Steps to confirm issue:

• Secondary drive not visible in Windows Explorer
• Secondary drive not visible in device manager
• Secondary drive not visible in disk manager

Steps to replicate issue:

• Installing 1909 update

Steps to resolve issue:

• Uninstall 1909 update

Since updates can only be delayed for so long, an actual fix would be appreciated.

 

Why is my computer locking up on boot after installing M.2 SSD

My brother suggested that I unplug the current SSD in my computer and leave the HDD drive alone. Install the M.2 SSD and boot into BIOS. He said the two SSD's might be causing a conflict and once the BIOS is allowed to identify the new M.2 SSD I should be able to plug the other one back in. Should I give that a shot?
