  1. I'm experiencing BSOD since updating to win 11 23H2 on Dell Precision 3560

I'm not sure when the Win 11 23H2 update was installed on my PC, but in the last 2 two or three months my screen has started to BSOD. I've had this machine for about 2 years and it was always stable. It blue screened twice 2 different days in the last week which has prompted me to look into this further to find a solution. I've opened the latest minidump file and run the analysis in the windows tool. Please could you advise on what to do with the output. I'm not sure that it's safe to paste all of it here as there could be security implications, but here's the high level problem reported:

No Audio Control Application in Dell Precision 3560

Solved! According to the installed Software Components of my Dell Precision 3560, the audio is supposed to be controlled by the Waves MaxxAudio Pro application (thanks to @sandyt for pointing that out). So, I went to the Dell Support and found the latest version of Waves MaxxAudio Pro application. The app is not available for my Precision 3560, but the latest one -for other laptops- worked just fine. Within seconds from completing the installation, the latest available version from the Microsoft Store was downloaded and installed automatically. HTH other Dell users, who don't get the Waves MaxxAudio Pro app from the support page of their machine!

No Audio Control Application in Dell Precision 3560

I recently retired (i.e. returned to the company I work for), my hp Probook 650 G5, due to faulty fan (or something else that created an unbearable noise) and for the first time I got a Dell laptop. The workstation Precision 3560. Quite a beast, with Intel Core i7-1165G7 and a 512GB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD, along with an Nvidia T500 graphics card. I clean installed Windows 10 Pro, to get rid of the usual -as hp- Dell bloatware. Impressively, all drivers were installed by Windows Update, including the Audio drivers (DCH/UAD). Trying to see what audio driver was installed, I noticed that the Realtek Hardware Support Application Software Component was not installed and consequently neither did the corresponding Realtek Audio Control application.
I'm experiencing BSOD since updating to win 11 23H2 on Dell Precision 3560 1026d1636457553t-no-audio-control-application-dell-precision-3560-a-devicemanager-dell-precision.png
So I reverted back to the Dell image I had saved, prior to clean installing, to notice that the same was also true on the factory installed Windows 10. Running my PS script, I got the same result Code:
I downloaded the latest driver from Dell (6.0.9247.1) and installed it. Same thing. No Realtek Hardware Support Application Software Component and no Realtek Audio Control application. Tried to download and install the Realtek Audio Control application from the Microsoft Store, but fails with error 0x803FB005. I also force installed (using pnputil) the Realtek Hardware Support Application Software Component, but it wasn't recognized as such and the Microsoft Store app keeps failing with the same error!!! Any ideas, what can be done? And why the Dell provided driver doesn't install the Realtek Hardware Support Application Software Component? Since I'm a newbie with Dell computers, is this normal for a Dell Precision (Workstation) laptop?

Windows 10 1511 Dell Latidue 3560 WIFI nightmare

I had many issues updating this laptop to 1511. It was working fine with 10240. First it was the Validity software preventing the update from going past Features and Drivers. Now I have a WIFI nightmare. BIOS is latest and I downloaded all the Win 10 drivers
from the Dell site. I have applied the January cumulative update to 1511.

I updated the drivers to the latest Win 10 drivers from Dell's site when I finally got the install to work. It is a 1704 b,g,n+BT 4.0. After the 1511 update I noticed that my WIFI was connecting, but said No Internet Connection. Ipconfig showed it as no media
connected. That turned out to be HyperV. I had that already installed with a Win7 VM. It was set to use the Wireless and was marked to share it with the Host OS. As with many settings in this "upgrade", it cleared that selection and that turned out to be that
problem. Rechecked the box and had Internet again on the Wifi.

Then it started having a BSOD about every 30 minutes. I was connected using the Ethernet at this point and left the Wifi unconnected for the time being. After a day of BSOD and trying to figure out why, I disabled the Wifi with Fn+F2. The BSOD stopped. So
I uninstalled the Wifi adapter in Device Manager and told it to delete all drivers. Then I reenabled it, rebooted and the system picked up the 1704 again and installed base drivers that had same version, but slightly different labeling. Then it would not see
my wireless network, or any other. And the BSOD came back. So I disabled it again and now no BSOD. I have seen there are a huge number of issues people are having with 1511 and Wifi, especially Dells. I have not seen my specific issue with the BSOD. I did
see the no Wifi networks visible, but the fixes involved third party VPN software, which I don't have.

I also tried a direct update of the drivers from Device Manager, which found a newer version and installed, but turned out to be the same version number, just slightly different labeling of the device.

Anyone have any experience with similar or suggestions on how to clear out the adapter and get it to install fresh and stable?

I have been a beta tester since Win 95. 1511 is absolutely the worst "upgrade" I have ever personally experienced. I'm an IT director and it took me days just to get it to apply and then with the Wifi problem after. I can only imagine the poor casual consumer
and what they have to go through.

Several other Dell laptops at my work are having similar issues and I have had to back them all down to Win 7. Yes they are all, including mine, listed as Windows 10 ready at Dell. Please MS employees, please DO NOT reply with the standard links to troubleshooter,
fix windows update, etc and completely unrelated steps to try. Stay on topic with any suggestions if you please. I have run troubleshooter and it finds no problems as well as all the other standard steps.

Thanks in advance for any helpful suggestions.
